Dann Schwartz is a Venture Partner at Kidron Corporate Advisors. Dann works with the team to identify investment and partnership opportunities.

Over the past 20 years he has started and grown multiple companies into successful enterprises. These companies included medical devices, e-commerce, manufacturing and distributorships selling to specialty clothing stores, department stores and national chains.

Dann is a founding partner of Optimum Return, LLC where he heads Business Development. Optimum Return (www.optimumreturn.com) is an e-commerce software development company whose processes are compliant with PCI-DSS v. 1.2. Their products and services were born out of extensive interaction with hundreds of direct marketing firms and creating over 100 customer sites. The team is highly experienced in e-commerce, direct marketing and advanced systems engineering. The average employee has over 16 years of IT experience, and certain personnel also have CCNA, MCSE and Network+ certifications.

In the field of medical devices with Raintree Essix Inc, he invented technologies for orthodontic retainers and tooth move appliances utilizing Essix Plastics without the need for orthodontic brackets and bands. In May, 2005, Raintree Essix was acquired by DENTSPLY (Nasdaq: XRAY). DENTSPLY designs, develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of products for the dental market.

Since 2005, Dann has done consulting with numerous companies utilizing his knowledge in manufacturing, distribution, patents and trademarks, medical devices and quality management standards such as ISO 13485, CE certification for Europe and CMDR for Canada.

Dann is actively involved with Sesame Communications (www.sesamecommunications.com) and Idea Village (www.ideavillage.org). Founded in 2000, The Idea Village is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to identify, support and retain entrepreneurial talent in New Orleans. Over the last 12 years, the organization has provided direct support to over 3,000 New Orleans entrepreneurs by engaging over 2,400 professionals to allocate 72,295 consulting hours and $3.45 million in seed capital. Collectively, this portfolio generates over $100 million in annual revenue and has created well over 2,000 jobs for the New Orleans community.

Dann is married with two children. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1986 with a minor in marketing. His interests outside of investing include triathlons, golf, snow skiing, basketball and wine.
